A Harvard Business School survey showed that more than 80% of people who worked from home during the pandemic either do not want to return to work in the office or prefer a mixed work option.
So, out of 1,500 respondents currently working remotely,
- 27% want to stay permanently remote
- 61% agree to combine work from home with visiting the office 2-3 days a week.
In addition, only 18% of respondents indicated that they want to work in the office full-time, but, according to the results of the study, most of them are married people or parents of small children. Obviously, they view office work as an opportunity to take a break from “happy” family relationships and “joyful” parenting.
And more than 50% of respondents would like to have a workplace in the office, at least 2 meters away from others.
It is obvious that the world of office life is undergoing huge changes both in terms of work schedules and in terms of the organization of office space.
Are you ready for such changes? Are your employees able to work in a comfortable environment?
